.
Experienced enough to meet the needs of the majors. Committed to serving the needs of the independents.
Our history
WSI was founded in 1999 to provide wellhead services to the San Juan Basin area of New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Texas. Since that time, the company has grown and prospered in an industry that is traditionally dominated by large multinational corporations. In 2011, the company expanded to the Permian Basin and opened an operating district in Hobbs, New Mexico. Because of our long standing history of quality and service and business success, WSI was acquired by Scout Surface Solutions in 2024.
Our approach
The company’s growth and success can be attributed to a philosophy that stresses customer service and provides a challenging and rewarding work environment for its employees. This business approach has resulted in an ever-expanding customer base and has attracted experienced, capable, and motivated employees from throughout the oil and gas industry.
Our team
The management team consists of individuals with experience in many areas of the industry — including independent oil and gas operations, many of the major internationally recognized wellhead companies, pressure pumping services, and rig operations. Together, WSI leadership boasts a diverse background of industry knowledge combining over 350 years of wellhead experience.
“WSI has been providing our company with an excellent product at a competitive price for years. Their operations manager is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and they provide us with quick and personalized service to solve our specific wellhead and rental equipment needs.”
